The Esplanade is one of the best spots in Lakes Entrance. It also happens to be home to one of the best coffees in town.
Right opposite the water, Albert & Co is a stunning Hamptons style café.
The interior is simply beautiful, with a relaxed but upmarket feel. I was welcomed warmly as I entered in search of a takeaway oat latte. My drink was ready very quickly, but I still had time to absorb the stylish interior design and attractive range of cakes (including a vegan option or two).
The coffee came from Melbourne’s well-respected 5 Senses and it was paired with the ever-reliable Alternative Dairy Co‘s oat milk. The resulting oat latte was exceptional – smooth with plenty of depth in its flavour and consistent to the very last drop.
Albert and Co is a lovely space and served up by far the best oat latte I enjoyed during a few days in Lakes Entrance. This café is well worth a visit to enjoy the ambience, views and great coffee in lovely Lakes Entrance!
